This reflects how OIAM Studios currently intends to operate as a freelancer. It's a starting point, not a certified legal document — have it checked against local consumer protection expectations if you plan to take on clients outside Suriname.

Before work begins

If you cancel a project before OIAM Studios has started any design or development work on it, you're entitled to a full refund of anything already paid.

After work has started

Once work has begun on your project (design drafts started, development underway, time actively spent), payments already made are non-refundable. This reflects time and effort already committed to your project.

Why it works this way

As an individual freelancer, OIAM Studios' time is the primary cost of every project. This policy is meant to be fair to both sides: you get full protection if you change your mind early, and the studio isn't left unpaid for real work delivered.

Disputes about quality

If you're unhappy with delivered work, message OIAM Studios directly first — most concerns can be resolved with revisions before a refund conversation is needed.
